Tell Trudeau to reject the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Winnipeg, Nov. 23, 2016 - Winnipeggers attended a townhall meeting at the University of Winnipeg about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a multilateral trade agreement that threatens our jobs, our environment and our sovereignty. Hosted by the Canadian Labour Congress, the panel included President Hassan Yussuff, Canadian Labour Congress President Maude Barlow, National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians and Linda Silas, President of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions. The discussion was moderated by former CUPE National President Paul Moist and introduced by Manitoba Federation of Labour President Kevin Rebeck.
