  1. CEASEFIRENOW.ORG : Please act on below. Personally, I’m not holding my breath, but we must make it clear to Obama that Israel is bound to get exactly what it planned for in Gaza (and afar)—a new equation with the Palestinians. With many more Palestinians without hope and with the historic injustice created in 1948 still being an open wound, the U.S. must act now—a good start would be for the U.S. to STOP supplying weapons to Israel!

  3. In your activities, please give these Child victims of Gaza (best viewed with Explorer) proper respect by reading out their names and ages or placing them on place cards. Sadly, we do not have their pictures. They were stripped of a proper burial and mourning period. Let’s not forget them.

  • Stop bombing Gaza, hold Israel accountable for its unspeakable crimes agains the population of Gaza, and end the occupation of Palestine. Only then can we speak seriously of working for peace in this region, savaged by a brutal occupation of one people by another.

  • I support all efforts to end the savage massacre in Gaza; Israel must be held accountable. The lies must stop; there is no such thing as “balance” between people who are funded to the tune of billions of dollars and those who are forced to defend themselves with home made rockets. Israel has starved the people of Gaza for nearly two years - surely this aspect of the “cease fire” cannot be ignored.

Nothing seems to me more important than the debate about what socialism means NOW, with the decks finally cleared of Soviet and similar versions, yet so few are doing it. Thank God, pardon the expression, for Canadian Dimension.
