  • The journalist was cut off the first time because he was being disruptive. The second time, he received an answer to his question.

    As to the use of white phosphorus: it’s use is not proscribed by international conventions on warfare. Contrary to what the narrator of this clip suggests, the Red Cross acknowledged that it was being used appropriately by the IDF for lighting at night and for the creation of smoke during daylight.

    Some civilians were burned by it because Hamas carries on combat from civilian zones. That is a war crime.
