  • There was just a Gay (queer) Pride festival in Israel.  As your organization is so strongly supportive of the Palastinian Arabs, how about you organize a Queer Pride parade and festival in Gaza or the West Bank?  Israel wouldn’t object and I’m just absolutely positive that your queer organization and all of your “comrades” would be so welcome there! I’ve read that Hamas loves Canadian queers as much as their local queers—that must be an awful lot! Please go as soon as possible as all of us supporters of your cause yearn to see how the Palestinians will welcome you, their queer fan club from Canada.  I’m just positive that they would love to sponsor the event, hook you up with their local Palestinian queers, so you can all come out together against the evil Israelis!  I bet they’ll have something special for those Jewish lesbians!  Palestinians just love Jewish lesbians!  Hamas could host the parade and Khaled Maashal could be the parade master. Too bad Yasser is gone—considering his own orientation, he must certainly have been a big queer and AIDS activist. Maybe Hassan Nasrallah down for the day from his basement in Beirut to ride on a float promoting tolerance, after all he’s another great fighter for human rights and he loves queers too!    Afterwards the Mullahs can give a sermon on love and tolerance and respect for diversity, and you can all party together!  Wow, I’d love to see that on Utube!

  • I like this video - it really goes to show that despite Israel’s attepts to portray apartheid as somehow gay-friendly, LGBT people still recognize it for what it is and are coming out against it.  Organizations like QuAIA are an excellent counter to some of the “progressive Zionist” (as if a colonialist and national chauvinist ideology like Zionism can ever be progressive) crap about Israel.
