New York Times foreign correspondent on U.S. war in Iran

This is a short 13 minute (in two parts) history lesson that speaks volumes. It is a MUST SEE for all, especially the mothers that are quietly wondering if their sons and daughters will be sent to Iran, some, sadly, will be shipped from from Iraq.

Living the tragedy of Palestine after total and multiple US and UK catastrophes, the parallels are too painful.

The videos below are a talk by Stephen Kinzer, author of “Overthrow: America´s Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq.” He is a former New York Times foreign correspondent and author of several books, including “All the Shah´s Men” and “Bitter Fruit.”

Stop this madness NOW, electing a new President is NOT enough,

  • I loved the beautifully written “My Stroke of Insight - a Brain Scientist’s Personal Journey” by Jill Bolte Taylor and her incredible talk on TED dot com. Dr. Taylor’s unique perspective as a Harvard neuroanatomist having a stroke, combined with her sensitivity and awareness, produced something as powerful as I’ve ever witnessed. I want to share Dr Taylor’s story far and wide because it’s a wonderful story and a great book to read, but more importantly, this is the message we desperately need if we are to survive as a species.

Nothing seems to me more important than the debate about what socialism means NOW, with the decks finally cleared of Soviet and similar versions, yet so few are doing it. Thank God, pardon the expression, for Canadian Dimension.
