Citoyen Dion and his green shaft will. He will be putting Canadians through unnecessary finanacial hardships. Senior citizens on a fixed income, (that's me) will be severely impacted by this onerous burden. My question is, why??? Canada contributes less than 2% of "so called" GHG to the atmosphere. This green shaft will raise the cost of everything, the so called plan will have no impact on reducing GHG, I have seen no figures as to what the reduction would be, suffice to say, it will be well below the afore mentioned 2%, that would not even register on the overall scheme of things.
