Revisiting our wonderful Boston experience through your articulate words and historical commentary gave me such joy today, Bernadette! In the midst of life's "day-to-day-ness", your article rekindled that place in my heart where vision and passion and determination are woven together in such a profound way. We both have Carolyn McDade (and our singing sisters across the continent) to thank for such transformative inspiration through the years, and especially with the recent "My Heart is Moved" CD project. I have often wondered how eco-feminism came to unfold, and am proud to include myself in the group of social justice activists and feminist women who also have a deep passion for our planet and all forms of life sharing it. The "aquifer" within my own deepest places has been stirred to life once again today through your eloquent writing and powerful commentary. I hope your fine article reaches many others, Bernadette. May we all forge onward, singing as we go.

My heart is moved....

Beautifully and soul-fully written, Bernadette. I remember you from our time singing in Sask. You have renewed in me a sense of my own "deep recesses" and connection with the ecofeminists of this world.

Carry on your great work,
Judith
