		<description>&lt;p&gt;[...] Associate professor Tony Hall has had his hearing for promotion to full professor postponed indefinately the day before the hearing was to take place.  The postponement was ordered by the Dean of Arts and Sciences who has no authority under the handbook to do this. The hearing was replaced with a notification that the instructor was to face disciplinary action for unrelated matters. ULFA has failed to challenge these actions in any meaningful way.
