February 28th is the first anniversary of the Six Nations Reclamation at Kanohnstaton, the small piece of land near Caledonia. a lot of work and hundreds of meetings later, the Canadian government still refuses to recognize the treaty and the right of Six Nations people to this land. Canadians are needed to support their call for peaceful negotiations, dialogue and collaboration. A letter writing campaign is in place this week, but anytime is a good time to remind our government that would benefit more from collaboration than conflict. Check the Autonomy and Solidarity website for more on this issue. Cheers.
