Mr. Layton's motto was too realistic: "... more NDPer in the parliament."

He achieved his goal by sacrificing most of social democratic values. We have doubled our NDPers in the parliament; however, I wonder if we have gained anything.

I wonder what our NDPers are going to do in the parliament when Tories try to amend Health Protection and Promotion Act. I hope that they will not call sick.

Wait and see; there is nothing else to do today.

Hello good people, I read your magazine as soon as it comes out, I wait for its arrival with anticipation to read its thought provoking articles; having said that, I am saddened by the fact that in your latest article about hte strategy the NDP adopted in the last election, you seem again to imply that there is no other possible way to bring about working politics if we do not have the NDP, I mean why not encourage to create, indeed, build a new party, a real socialist party, not social democracy but socialist, why is the NDP seen as the only possible salvation and nothing else? is this a cold war mentality? rabbid anti-communism? or what?, there are places in the world where a genuine anti-imperialist stand is embrace by the people, why not follow those examples?, I agree with most of what you wrote and the fact that the NDP has moved away from us, working people, and in some undortunate cases, it has even betrayed us. Why not take the risk and build some new alternative. Thanks for your time and continue the good work.
